Round 2 of wire wrapping. This time I attempted it with rings. Honestly, it was fairly difficult to do and I was scared of the wire turning my fingers green which I absolutely hate so I made the executive decision to coat them with epoxy. I was worried it would turn out badly, but I rather liked the results. The downside is that the darker quartz gem lost a little bit of its sheen, but it only served to make it look more like a tumbled stone rather than a raw stone so it wasn’t a total loss. I really enjoyed making these despite the difficulty I had from the learning curve. I hope to make more soon trying some different techniques. My pictures don’t do the rings justice and to be quite honest they turned out way better than I thought that they would!
